Service and Development Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Angela has become an active supporter of PBUK following her recent retirement from West Midlands Police. During a career that spanned 36 years she rose through the ranks to Superintendent managing a department of some 400 staff members whilst having to develop the commensurate human resources management skills that such a diverse group of people require.

Angela has developed a wealth of experience in relation to partnership working particularly in respect of vulnerability both in adults and children and has developed policy and driven activity in the areas of Child Protection and Domestic Violence.

The role within the organisation enabled her opportunity to raise the profile of minority groups in the service and she was recognised for mentoring and promoting diversity. As a peer mentor and supporter she was trained by ACAS as a mediator and used to resolve workplace disputes. It was through these support roles that she recognised the value of Protective Behaviours as a process and the possibilities for its use within other specialist areas.
