Hilla Joshi-Thompson Training Level: Foundation Level Specialist Area: Working with children and families intensively. Training Availability: Independent Trainer Main Region: Hertfordshire, London Also Covers: Nationwide Since 2003 I have worked with vulnerable children and adults. During which time I have worked in a Children's Centre in North London and within schools in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. I have been using Protective Behaviours since 2009. PBs instinctively and theoretically has been an amazing program and tool to support, change and empower. I felt so passionate about it that when I managed a team of Family Support Workers I ensured that they used Protective Behaviours in their roles and through their supervision. From Goldsmiths University I graduated with a Master degree in Anthropological Psychology. |

Maureen Miller Training Level: Foundation Level Specialist Area: Training Availability: Independent Trainer Main Region: Hertfordshire and surround areas Also Covers: Negotiable I have worked with children throughout my working life, childminding running a preschool and working in a secondary school. More recently I was employed as an Extended Services Manager for 5 years working with schools in South West Hertfordshire. Currently I am a self-employed consultant and trainer on extended services matters, and work with a counselling and play therapy services to support children, young people and their families. I am about to embark on some Family Support work with Action for Children and also with a Local Partnership of schools locally. In 2011, I undertook the Train the Trainer course and was delighted to achieve the PTLLS award in this area. |
