I'm a recently appointed Trustee for PBUK and really looking forward to working with the team. For the last 10 years since the age of 25 I have been working with young people in a variety of different settings including schools, youth centres, young offender institutes, community service reparation, also outreach (engaging on the streets).

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2008 with a degree in Community, Play and Youth Studies. In 2010 I worked for a year in Australia for Corrective Services putting together and delivering a programme to support young offenders and their transition back into mainstream society.

Protective Behaviours is not just part of what I deliver to young people, its also an important part of how I manage my own life. Should you require any information of what we do here at PBUK then please contact the PBUK office.

Karl Nicholson

Key Responsibilities:

Karl Nicholson, is responsible for developing all of the charity's long-term growth strategies, launching new brand initiatives, and developing earnings opportunities for PBUK.

Karl joined the PBUK board of Trustees in May 2011. Karl's full time job is a Software Support Engineer for a large company providing official scoring and TV graphics for live sporting events. Karl also runs his own IT support company and is a member of the Royal Airforce Reserve.
