The Protective Behaviours Process was designed to be adaptable to social changes and various different situations.

This means that it is becoming ever more wide spread across the UK as well as internationally through the excellent work of associate organisations. Just some of the uses of PBs are shown below.

Uses of the Protective Behaviours Process:

• For use in schools and the prevention of bullying.

• The prevention of abuse and violence.

• Rehabilitation of people affected by abuse and violence.

• As part of the Restorative Justice process.

• In relation to people with disabilities or special needs.

• As well as addressing issues in the workplace such as workplace bullying.

• In safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

• In promoting diversity and equality.
